Description
Revelation was never meant to confuse you. It was written on God's calendar.
For anyone who has ever closed the Book of Revelation feeling more confused than illuminated, Robert Charley offers a fresh lens, grounded in scholarship yet written with the warmth of a friend walking you through a subject he loves. — BookTrib
Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts of Leviticus 23 to the day at His first coming. The fall feasts, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles, are still waiting. John, a Jewish apostle, wrote Revelation to readers who kept these Holy Days every year. Once you see them, the symbols stop being a mystery and the message becomes clear.
The Feast of Trumpets unlocks Revelation 1–7 through the first fall feast: Yom Teruah, the Day of the Shout, and Judgment Day.
Inside, you'll discover: Why John hears a voice like a trumpet, and why Revelation opens on the Feast of Trumpets Why judgment begins with the church, and what Christ's words to the seven churches reveal about yours The Four Horsemen as forces already moving through our world: division, oil crisis, inflation, war, famine and death The Hidden Day no one knows, and why Jesus used those very words about His return The Days of Awe, the seals, the teruah , and the King who is coming Written for pastors, teachers, Bible study leaders, and every disciple who wants to understand Revelation, not just read it. Each chapter follows the text in order in plain language, with Scripture throughout.
About the author: Robert Charley is a Hopi-Navajo Bible teacher from northern Arizona. For more than thirty years he has served at Grace Walk Community Church in Phoenix, Arizona. He began by bringing the Sunday message to the elderly at a nursing home, then served in the children's bus ministry, taught adult Sunday school and Bible studies, and served as a Church Director.
A lifelong student of Scripture, Robert read the entire Bible every year for fifteen years, until one question changed everything: What does it say in Hebrew? He studied under Uri Harel, a native Hebrew speaker at the Center for Biblical Hebrew, and learned to read the Hebrew Bible. For the past twenty years he has read the Torah aloud in Hebrew and studied entire volumes of Torah commentary every year, alongside hours of Christian commentary.
That journey became the Blueprint to Revelation series: Revelation read through the Hebrew eyes of its first audience.
Book 1 of the Blueprint to Revelation series. Continue with The Day of Atonements (Revelation 8–16).
