Samhain: Learn About Paganism with Grani Hulda

Grani Hulda loves the Wheel of the Year celebrations! Samhain is a special time of year and so full of magic! This is the time of year when a lot of changes happen and we celebrate our ancestors and family members who have passed on.

Grani Hulda is busy making potions and crafts. As the Earth and its creatures prepare for winter, Grani Hulda also makes plans to use this time to dream a new life and honor the people that she has lost. Grani Hulda shares what Samhain means and explains it to kids in a way that they can understand it. What is Samhain? What is the Witches New Year? How do you celebrate Samhain? In this fun and magickal book, Grani Hulda celebrates Samhain with another sweet animal friend, the bat. Bats represent death and rebirth, and are perfect to symbolize Samhain. Together, they show us several good ways to celebrate Samhain. This little book is full of Samhain symbols like jack o’ lanterns and witches.

With the fun, bright pictures of animals and trees and Grani Hulda’s smile, even complex Pagan meanings are brought down to earth so young children can get a feeling for the Sabbats.

Introducing your kids to the Pagan pathway can be tricky. Let Grani Hulda help you. This book is a read along book for ages 2-7.
